Every month we will choose one of our Imaging Academy lecturers to select a subject matter. This will be emailed to all Warehouse Club members and displayed on this page on the 1st of every month.
You will then have 3 weeks to submit your digital image (no more than 2MB JPEG) to us via email, including your name, equipment used and membership number . You are allowed two entries per month.
The images will be judged by the chosen lecturer and the winner announced on the 28th of every month.
We do like to be by the seaside so this month we would like to see your best shot from the coast. This can be in the UK or abroad any season in colour or monochrome.
From the landscape with few or no people in it to that close up of youngsters enjoying ice-cream, paddling or building sand castles. Why not your best sand castle shot anyway or a townscape of a costal town either in full glory or quiet and dilapidated when past its heyday? And dont forget the beauty and power of nature with the options of waves and close-up details of rocks and sea shells.
Quite simply there is lots of potential subjects we have not mentioned so why not enjoy having a go? And yes that great British summer shot with rain falling is also allowed!

After 9 months of monthly competitions, the winning images from each month will be put online where visitors to our website will vote for the overall Digital Depot - Digital Photographer of the Year 2008.
