The DC201 is optimised for true widescreen recording straight to DVD. Easily preview widescreen movies in true 16:9 using the camcorder's 2.7" widescreen LCD. If you need to extend battery life use the energy efficient 0.27" widescreen colour EVF (Electronic Viewfinder) instead.
